GMD submissions are in… (edit)

Thuan| March 1, 2008 8:09 pm

Well the three weeks are now up and the games are in! We have a total of 11 10 games submitted out of the 14 13 teams registered and I’m happy to announce that ALL games are runnable on my laptop without any major issues. We will have the voting session next week Friday March 7th at 5pm to determine the 10 games that will move onto the judging round (if you have any issues attending, please let me know to arrange an alternative). All 10 games will move onto the judging round!  Stay tuned for more info…

GMD games submission

Thuan| February 27, 2008 11:26 am

I hope everyone is doing well — only a few days before the deadline! On Friday Feb 29th at 5pm, you can submit your game on CD/DVD at the club meeting (BA 2195) or you can send an email (no attachments) to with a link to download the game somewhere on your servers.

And the GMD 2008 themes are…

Thuan| February 8, 2008 8:01 pm

Deadly Viruses from Dimension N+1

Planet Earth and Frogs with Potatoes on the side

Choose either 1 or 2 (but NOT both). If you need any help or have questions on anything related to GMD or making your game, post it on the forums and we’ll try to help you out. Good luck!

Theme will be announced tonight

Thuan| 10:54 am

I will be announcing the theme later tonight at our utGDDC club meeting (and will be posted on this site later).  It will be held today (Feb 8th) at BA 1240 from 5-7 pm.  Today will be the last day to register before the late fee.

Updates to registration

Thuan| February 4, 2008 5:36 pm

Because of the cancellation of last week’s meeting due to the snow storm, I am extending the registration deadline by one day. In other words, it’s $10 to register by Friday February 8 and after that it’s $15.

Also, for convenience, you can also register by sending me email at with the required info and I’ll arrange a meeting time with you for the registration fee.
