GMD 2011 officially finished on Thursday, February 3, and we were pleased to see a good number of game submissions this year. Thanks to everyone who spent the time working on their games and then submitted them. It wouldn’t have been much of a GMD if we didn’t have any games! Now the games are off to the judging panel, which we will give you more information about within the coming week or so.

“ (DON’T BE FUNKY,)

LET’S GET LUCKY! ”

That’s the theme.

If you haven’t yet registered for GMD 2011, there’s still time. Registration for GMD 2011 closes on Thursday, December 9 December 16. It’s only $10 per team to register, which is $5 per person if you’re in a team of two. All you have to do is download the GMD 2011 Sign-up Form, fill it out, and give the form with your registration fee to Shane. You can get in touch with Shane by email at gmd@utgddc.com to coordinate a time to meet up with him and submit your form and pay your GMD registration fee.

The money that’s collected from each team’s registration fee will be used to help organize the competition and purchase prizes. Keep in mind that in recent years’ GMD competitions, all participants who submitted a game received a prize.

Good luck to those of you with exams, and happy game-making everyone!
